Causes of Male Infertility
Emotional factors can do a lot to make a person
infertile. A person under mental stress can have abnormal eating
and sleeping habits. Since his physical capability is
directly affected by his mental capacities, naturally the function of
his body can only perform according to the dictates of his stressed out
mental faculties. Even when a person has a quality sperm and considered
fertile, he can still be infertile because of stress.
A person under mental stress will be unable to have a
proper erection during sex. In most cases, a person can actually
have no erection at all if the problem that would cause his mental
stress is too much for him to bear. If a person is always under
stress because of his job, there is also the possibility that his
.sperm count can be affected negatively or even the quality or forms of
his sperm cells.
For your information please take note that a person can
have a low sperm count with either quality or deformed sperms which in
both cases are considered infertile due to low count. While a
person with quality sperm will mean having a high sperm count with good
sperm forms. For a person to have quality sperms, what are needed are
proper rest, good diet and proper exercise. And since a person
who is always under stress due to his job cannot eat properly and even
have a proper rest, chances are that the quality of his health and also
his sperms will be negatively affected
Another thing that would tend to aggravate matters when
it comes to this problem is the possibilities that since the person
under stress cannot already perform his task at sex due to his
incapacity in having an erection, this fact would add even more to his
problem at hand. Some people, to alleviate this condition
would tend to remedy their stress or depression by means of anti
depressant medication. However, please be informed that
prescription anti-depressant drugs can result to sterility, a condition
where you are permanently unable to have children of your own.
So, be careful.
Now, aside from stress, other forms or causes of
infertility are unhealthy habits like taking drugs, excessive smoking
and too much alcohol intake. Smoking and alcohol is very
unhealthy to the body. These are toxins that damage your vital
organs. It is very important that for a person to have a healthy
body and healthy sperm cells, smoking, drugs and alcohol should be
thrown out of his life.
Improper food intake can lead to obesity and
infertility. A person who is not careful with his diet can be
obese because of too much calorie intake from foods that he eats.
An obese person will have fats in nearly all parts of his body more
specifically on his belly portion. These fats would tend to cover
even the base of his penis that would make him unable to have a proper
penetration during sex to deliver his sperm cells to the organ of his
female partner. Aside from this, it is said that an obese person
tend to lose desire for sex which would also explain why most obese
persons do not have children of their own. However, there are
also obese persons whom I know with children of their own. What I know
about them is that their obesity started only after they have
children. After which, they were not already able to have
children.
A place that gives off heat to the body also causes
your sperm cells to be destroyed. A good example is saunas.
Saunas are good for the body to loose excess fats through
sweating. It is also good to relax tired muscles after
workouts. The drawback with saunas however, is that it is bad for
your sperm cells due to the heat that it gives off to the body.
The heat that your body absorbs to make you sweat also affects those
sperms inside your hanging testicles. If your body fats can be
melted by the sauna heat just think what sauna heat can do to your
sperm cells.
