Infertility Problems in Males
A large percentage of infertility among men was once
said to be caused by the reproductive tract. As medical studies
showed, the male reproductive tract is unlike a female reproductive
tract that is a complex system. A male reproductive tract is quite
simple. Thus, it was found out that infertility among men are
more often than not, caused by sperm disorders.
During sexual intercourse where the regular course of
penetration is obtained and the natural course of reaching the point of
orgasm between partners can be realized toward the ejaculation of semen
from the male organ to the deep cavities of his partner’s vagina, the
following can transpire. Out of the several millions of sperm
cells that are contained in a single burst of ejaculation from a male
penis, only several hundred of sperm cells can be able to meet a
woman’s egg and to fertilize it towards conception if the condition of
the male sperms is of good quality.
For a male sperm to be considered as quality sperms,
the sperm count should be high. Likewise the sperm should have uniform
sizes, have good motility and should have complete forms. For the male
sperm to be able to fertilize a female egg, these conditions of male
sperms should be present. Male sperms should have these qualities in
order that they can break the protective wall surrounding the female
egg and have it fertilized. If the sperm are low in number,
chances for the sperm even to reach the egg would be very nil.
Likewise if the quality of sperms cells is not good in
terms of motility and forms, they will certainly not be able to reach
the egg or even break the surrounding wall encasing the egg. In
the first place sperms that are not in good forms are mutants. They do
not have tails and sometimes, their heads have other forms. These
abnormal forms will result to making them being slower in their motion
towards fertilizing an egg. The normal form of a sperm cell is
that it should have an oblong head and a body with tail. The shaped of
its tail and oblong head is so designed for easy maneuvering while they
swim towards a targeted egg for fertilization.
Thus, a man to be fertile should have sperm cells that
are high in numbers and are of good quality. In this
respect, let us know the causes why many of us suffer from
infertility. Actually, all of us were born with the capacity for
reproduction. But because of our work, the lifestyle that we do, and
even our attitude, we tend to take our health and our gift for
procreation just for granted. And so, as our health deteriorates,
so does our capacity for sexual reproduction.
Let me now point out those things that we do that would
impact negatively on our health and our capacity to have an
offspring. Unhealthy lifestyle is one. This is all about
excessive smoking, consuming too much alcoholic drinks and staying out
late at night. These three things are the evils of good health.
If you want to be healthy and fertile, gather these three and throw
them out of the window.
Another unhealthy habit is over consumption of food
leading to obesity. You have to observe proper diet to prevent yourself
from becoming an obese person. Being obese is unhealthy. It is
dangerous to your heart and to your other vital organs because of too
much fat. Your sex life will be surely affected because too much
fat tends to decrease your urge for sex towards creating your own
baby. Besides, because of fat that would cover your tummy and
your lower abdomen, your penis will tend to shrunk and you can be
unable to have a proper penetration during sex which will also preclude
you from impregnating your wife.
