Male Infertility - Its Causes
There are many married couples who, after marriage,
will practice birth control so that they can delay having children
while they are saving for the future. When they have already
earned a lot of money through diligent saving for their future child,
and were now trying their very best to have their first child, they
have come to discover one hard fact: that the husband is infertile and
does not have the capacity to impregnate his
wife.
If a couple is infertile, the cause can be either with
the husband or the wife. While infertility can be cured through
medication and proper lifestyle, sterility on the other hand is
incurable. A sterile person cannot have the capacity to produce a child
permanently. Actually, when a person is considered infertile,
problems such as low sperm count or the quality of his sperm can be the
problem which through medication and rest and proper diet can be cured.
There are of course several reasons why a man can be
infertile. In most cases, these are temporary situations since with
proper medication an infertile can be made to be fertile again. Too
much alcohol intake can make a person infertile. Toxic substances
in chemicals even in the prescription drugs which are chemically
processed can also make a person infertile.
Since stress can also cause infertility in men, it
should be pointed out that there is nothing to worry about for men to
be infertile since this is just a temporary thing and can be readily
cured. To be very worried with your situation will only aggravate the
matter of his stress, in the first place. If you are under stress
because of your condition please take heed not to take any depressant
medication since depressant medication has just been verified to cause
impotency in men. So, watch out.
You may not be aware of it, but by wearing tight
underwear, sperm production at your testes might be affected
negatively. This is because tight underwear produces heat, more
especially if the materials used of your underwear are synthetic
fibers. You should take care not to wear tight briefs. You should
also make sure that your briefs are pure cotton without mixture of any
synthetic fabric. Also, if you are used to wearing tight jeans,
you must now learn to wear loose baggy pants. Tight jeans can
also adversely affect your sperm development because of the heat it can
give to your testes.
If you have a habit of passing by a Sauna after work
and have a body massage, it is suggested that you stop this practice if
you are really intent in having a good quality of sperm cells. Saunas
are bad for sperm cells due to heat exposure. Either it is a
traditional Swedish sauna or the latest kind of saunas using infra red
heat can both destroy your sperm cells if you habitually expose your
body to these heat therapies. And for those people, who have the
habit of taking a hot bath before sex, refrain from doing this again.
Hot bath is very bad for your sperm.
